The leading techniques of “Straw Panel” that innovated by Lodgi won the only Reward of National Science and Technology Progress in flooring industry which is given by State Council.
The manufacturing technology and industrialization of “straw panel” was started by JiangSu Lodgi Woods Co., LTD ( Lodgi ) and NanJing Forestry University ( NFU ), it was awarded the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress of the year 2009, which is the only reward given to the flooring industry.

This “Staw Panel” is mainly produced from rice straw and wheat straw to produce No Added Formaldehyde ( NAF ) Straw Flooring. After more than 4-years hard work and investment by LODGI and NFU, the dreams finally come true.
From the beginning of 2005, Lodgi started to put manpower, financial investment and also a lot of other investments, it’ s successfully supply the gap of Chinese flooring industry, further more it obtained several patents.

The standard was started to carry out from Sep. 1st, 2009. The manufacturing technology and industrialization of Straw Flooring and Straw Panels not only can reduce the forest waste, but also could find a new method to dispose agricultural waste material. It has distinct social and economic benefit.
